Warrier Foundation is registered as an NGO under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882. It enables the Foundation to seek donations under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
As per the revised tax exemption act, effective 1 April 2017, all your donations of above Rs. 500 to Warrier is Foundation is eligible for 50% tax exemption under Section 80G of Income Tax Act.
Note* - The 80G tax exemption is applicable only for Indian donors and NRI donors (Indian citizens, holding an Indian passport). Foreign donors will be eligible for tax exemption as per the tax laws of their respective countries.
