Warrier Foundation has set up a Vedic School – the VedvidyaGurukulamthat is affiliated to the Maharshi SandipaniRashtriya Ved Vidyalaya (recognised by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India).
Presently we have about 50 children in total across grades, who are imparted holistic education including open school education wherein they have to learn other subjects – NIOS (SSC and HSC) alongside Vedic education as per the Veda Vibhushan examination format.
The children at VedvidyaGurukulam are imparted Vedic knowledge under Shukla Yajur Veda, and they are equipped to perform various Homasand Yagnas.The children at VedvidyaGurukulamare also taught to chant Mantras depending on the occasion.Our Gurukulamis equipped to perform all types of Karmakand as per the Vedic regularities and perform different prayers as per different Hindu Festivals.
Our alumni from VedvidyaGurukulam have pursued various professions. Some have chosen to carry on the tradition as Yoga teachers or Pandits. Having said that, there are others who have chosen a professional career in banks, sales, hospitals and so on, while continuing their Vedic practises as a way of life.
