Since Warrier Foundation started work 15 years back, healthcare has been one of the primary areas of our work. With the help of volunteers across the spectrum, we have conducted preventive and proactive healthcare camps at institutions as also with the help of the general public. These have included eye check-up camps for children in schools, blood donation camps across cities, and health check-up camps in various villages. Our efforts and the success of the initiatives have been recognized by the Red Cross Society.
Blood donation
Blood donation camps are an ongoing feature at Warrier Foundation. We have conducted hundreds of such camps in cities including Mumbai, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Pune, New Delhi, Bangalore among others. In recognition of conducting the maximum blood donation drives by any Indian corporate, we have been awarded the Best Corporate Company by the Red Cross Society of India in the year XXX. At Flyjac Logistics, a Hitachi Transport Company, blood donation camps have become synonymous with every event we host – the in-house annual day celebrations, international customer meets or camps in our warehouses.
We now also guide other groups and individuals who desire to conduct blood donation camps on their own.
Eye check-up camps
Since inception, we have partnered with municipal schools and NGOs to conduct eye check-up camps in more than 400 schools in cities including Mumbai, Bangalore, New Delhi, Ahmedabad and Chennai. Through these camps, we have touched the lives of more than 350,000 children.At these camps, we also gave away free spectacles to children who needed it. We have also collated a presentation that can help anyone across the country initiate an eye check-up camp on their own with local resources.
Eye donation
We, at Warrier Foundation, have taken a pledge to make eyes immortal allowing them to continue to see this world long after we are all gone, through the vision of somebody else. Through this initiative, over a lakhfamilies have been convinced to pledge their eyes. And with each person’s pledge, two visually impaired individuals will enjoy the gift of sight. Eminent personalities who have signed this pledge include renowned playback singer KJ Yesudas and spiritual management guru Swami Sukhabodananda.

General medical check-up camps
Through our general health check-up camps in remote villages, we are trying to enrol and empower local doctors under both allopathic and ayurvedic philosophies of treatment. We also collect medicines from doctors and pharmaceutical companies for free distribution across the state of Kerala.Healthcare seminars, free cancer detection camps, bone density testing camps, financial assistance to deserving individuals in hospitalisation and treatment of their ailments – theseare just some of the programmes we have carried out.
